Surveillance cameras, dashcams, mobile phone videos - video recordings have become an integral part of everyday life. This makes it all the more important to process this source of information for accident analysis.

The latest development in computer-aided accident analysis has also taken the first step here, with a tool that can automatically recognise moving objects in videos and determine their speeds. In this way, data from static surveillance cameras can be transferred directly into an accident analysis calculation.
