Our 33rd EVU Annual Congress will be held in Brașov, Romania from 25 to 27 September 2025.
Registration for the Annual Congress 2025 is open as of now!
We were able to block allotments with two hotels (Hotel Aro Palace, Hotel Ambient Palace; more information on the registration form).
The participation fee is 695,00 € for EVU East members, 795,00 € for EVU West members and 995,00 € for non-members.
In the run-up to the conference, there will probably be the opportunity to take part in workshops on the following topics on Wednesday, 24 September 2025:
- Workshops on Road Safety Checks and Audits by Dragos Dima (for registered participants)
- Evaluation of driving data from EDR for accident analysis by Michael Weyde (for registered participants)
On Thursday morning, 25 September 2025, there may be the opportunity to go on an excursion to the Autoliv plant. If you are interested, you can indicate this in the registration form.
For cancellations from 15.08.2025 a fee of 50 % of the conference fee will be charged. For cancellations from 29.08.2025 a fee of 100 % will be charged. We ask for your understanding.

Getting to Brașov:
Getting to Brasov, Romania by flight:
1) Brasov-Ghimbav International Airport (GHV) is located approx. 10 kilometers away from the city center. There are a few direct flights to Brasov by low cost airlines from Dortmund, London Luton, Crete, Tel Aviv and Budapest.
2) Henri Coanda International Airport (OTP) in Bucharest, located approximately 166 kilometers to the south of Brasov. It is an international airport and easily accessible.
3) Sibiu International Airport (SBZ) in Sibiu, located approximately 147 kilometers to the west of Brasov. There are also several low cost airlines that fly to Sibiu
The journey from both Bucharest and Sibiu to Brasov takes around 2.5 hours. From Bucharest it is possible to travel by public transport. However, we recommend booking a transfer through this company: https://transferairport.ro/ro/. The transfer can be booked from € 30,- p.p./trip. We recommend traveling via the SBZ and OTP airports.
Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems and possible malfunctions
As usual, the conference will offer the "Open Forum" for presentations on other topics related to the reconstruction of accidents.
