The work of accident analysts has changed considerably in recent years due to the digitalisation of vehicles and traffic systems. In addition to securing evidence and assessing damage to vehicles, which is then used to perform mathematical/physical calculations to clarify the traffic accident, it is now necessary to find, read and analyse a large number of different data sources. The data sources must be critically examined with regard to their origin and limitations. Data coming from different sources must be synchronized with regard to time and all other data in an appropriate and professional manner in order to be able to correctly record and display the individual sequences of an accident sequence.
