This paper intends to show some methods that can be used to retrieve data from videos and to take measurements, in which concern speed and acceleration, in time and space dependence. In this respect, we wish to specify the parameters that are relevant for the device with which the film was taken and the correlation with the receiver and data acquisition system. There are presented also some specific data related to the position of the camera and the angle of filming, in direct connection with the calculation method of the parameters and estimation of errors that can be implied in this method.
