Our 34th EVU Annual Congress will take place from September 17 - 19, 2026, in Žilina, Slovakia. The venue is the Holiday Inn Žilina Hotel, Športová 2, 010 01 Žilina (LINK).

Registration for the 2026 Annual Congress is open now!

We reserved the entire room allocation at the Holiday Inn Žilina (see the registration form for further details).
The participation fee is € 695.00 for EVU East members, € 795.00 for EVU West members (see list of countries), and € 995.00 for non-members.
 

In the run-up to the conference, on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, there will be an opportunity to participate in workshops on the following topics:

• Motorcycle Accidents (hosted by André Doria)
  In this engaging workshop, André Doria (USA) will share key insights about motorcycle accidents:
  -> Motorcycle Crash Physical Evidence Analysis
  -> Motorcycle Speed Methods
  -> Motorcycle Inspection
   
• Road Safety Inspections (hosted by Tibor Kubjatko)
  Tibor Kubjatko (SK) will share fascinating insights on the following topics during an in-depth workshop:
  -> technical regulations on road inspection, monitoring devices for various means of transport during inspection, safety restraint systems and barriers and their assessment, methodology for creating expert reports

Interested in the above workshops? You can register free of charge in the registration form!Please note that the workshops take place simultaneously - you can therefore only attend one of the two. The workshops will take place on September 16, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.


On Thursday morning, September 17, 2026, there will be an opportunity to participate in an excursion to the KIA plant. The first group departs at 8:30 a.m. from the Holiday Inn Hotel (tour begins at 9:00 a.m.), and the second group at 10:30 a.m. (tour begins at 11:00 a.m.). Space is limited. If you are interested, please indicate your preference on the registration form.

For cancellations from 06.08.2026 a fee of 50 % of the conference fee will be charged. For cancellations from 17.08.2026 a fee of 100 % will be charged. We ask for your understanding.

Traveling to Žilina:

You can travel to Žilina by car, train (https://www.zssk.sk/en/), or plane via Vienna International Airport.

From Vienna International Airport, you can easily reach Žilina by rental car via the highway in about 2.5 hours. Please note that you will need a highway vignette for Slovakia (https://eznamka.sk/en) and that you must notify the rental car company when crossing the border into Slovakia.
